The lymphatic system performs three critical functions which makes it important to look after. Learn more about the how the Lymphatic Bowen can help…
The lymphatic system sits alongside the cardiovascular system, supporting the immune system by removing toxins, bacterial pathogens, and other waste. It helps the body to absorb fats and fat-soluble vitamins from the digestive system, delivering the nutrients to cells to be used as fuel. The lymph system continually works to clean and regulate the lymph fluid flow throughout the body, by removing excess fluid and waste products from the spaces between the cells and organs of the body.
If you don’t have a fully functioning healthy lymphatic system, over time it can get clogged with toxins leading to potential health concerns!
A lymph system that is not properly functioning can trigger unexplained aches and pains all over the body. Given that you have about 15 litres of lymph fluid in your body, three times more than the amount of blood, it’s best not ignore it!
Do you suffer with any of these symptoms?
Lymphatic Bowen is suitable for anyone who feels that they could benefit from this wonderful therapy. However, if you have Lymphoedema which requires specialised massage and binding, I recommend you stay the course with that.
Bowen Technique is a very gentle therapy where the effects can be subtle but powerful.
In this Bowen session the practitioner applies light moves to the body. The treatment is gentle, impactful and is changing lives – it’s truly remarkable.
It depends on the issue being addressed, so come and have a first session, then review.
