Turn Trauma into Triumph with the BLAST Technique®

You can Experience this Breakthrough Technique Designed to Release Emotional Wounds

Trauma can leave a lasting imprint on our minds and bodies, affecting every aspect of our lives. But there is a powerful tool that can help you reclaim your sense of peace and empowerment: the BLAST Technique®.

Sue Woodriffe - Advanced BLAST technique Practitioner

The BLAST Technique®, short for Bilateral Analysis and Stimulation of Trauma, is a cutting-edge approach to trauma processing that combines elements of neurobiology, psychology, and somatic therapy. Developed in 2008 by leading International Hypnotherapist and Media Body Language Expert Nick Davies, the BLAST Technique® harnesses the brain's natural ability to process and integrate traumatic memories, allowing for profound healing and transformation

So, how does it work?

At its core, the BLAST Technique® leverages bilateral stimulation to access and reprocess traumatic memories stored in the brain. Through a series of guided exercises, clients engage in rhythmic movements or sensory experiences that activate both hemispheres of the brain.

This bilateral stimulation creates a state of heightened awareness and relaxation, enabling clients to safely revisit and reframe their traumatic experiences.

But here's where the magic happens: as clients engage in bilateral stimulation, the brain begins to reprocess the traumatic memories in a new light. Instead of being stuck in a state of fight, flight, or freeze, the brain is able to integrate the traumatic memories into the broader narrative of the client's life. This leads to a profound shift in perception, allowing clients to release the emotional charge attached to the trauma and reclaim their sense of agency and empowerment.

"I was particularly blown away by Sue's use of the BLAST technique®, something that had a huge effect on me when it came to getting back out into the world and managing and resolving issues past, present and future.  "
